Gosh it has been a hectic few weeks.  I have slowly started job hunting because the one I have right now (perks aside) sucks ass and well when you are on a ship and it is sinking you don't just stand around on the deck and say "Wow that is a pretty big iceberg" you get your butt to a lifeboat and get the heck out of there.

So anyway a quick run down of the week (with pictures).  About a week ago my partner in crime and I rescued an alligator (?) lizard from the back patio.  When I say we I mean more like it was me who did the rescuing, after pouting and getting the go a head.
Rasputin (for that is now his name) had been living out in our patio for a little over a week and the day I rescued him it was out of fear that one of the stray cats around here would finish off the job of pulling off his limbs and perhaps eating him.

Rasputin has his side kinda crunched in and has an arm gone (it looks healed over, no open wounds), and no he isn't the type to regrow said arm.  Granted he would probably be find out in the patio where the crows and stray cats are always around but I figured a terrarium with plump crickets to eat every other day wouldn't be such a bad life for him.  He is doing well, and seems happy >^.^<

Adrian is handling the new addition by being super creepy.  One day I came home from grocery shopping and this is what I saw when I looked down the hallway.  Discombobulated kitten head, but as long as she gets attention and priority seating during movie times she is pretty happy.

As for cooking I did try a new recipe the other day.  I made strawberry short cake from scratch.  I was super surprised that it came out so well even though my decoration skills are very lacking.  The cake was soon gone and I will be putting up more pictures and the recipe over at Kitchen Bitch very soon, so please check it out.  Well that is all I have for an update and I need to get back to laundry (joy!) so take care everyone :).

My Muse

My it has been a very productive day for me here, or I really am avoiding folding laundry just that much, hehe, but anyway The Toy Box now has a new review up.  This one was a bit weird, not the toy itself but the fact that I wrote most of the review on my phone (an old school blackberry) on my daily commutes to work and on my breaks.  Guess that is one way to be productive.  But anyway the long await review on Muse Massager is now there at Toy Box.  It is NSFW so consider yourselves warned, click the picture to read the review. :P

PokeBall Cookies FTW

Just last weekend I made this yummy sugar cookies (and they have gone over well, since they are all gone).  The recipe is over at Kitchen Bitch if anyone wants to try their own hands at making these.  Next I will probably be making something Deadpool-ish, so stay tuned hehe.

Shingeki No Kyojin

Just got done watching the first episode of Shingeki No Kyojin (aka Attack On Titan), and I was very pleasantly surprised on how well the transition from manga to anime went.  For a while now Shingeki has been one of my favorite action manga's and I was a little bit leery when I heard that they were going to come out with the anime.  But I finally sat down and watched the first episode and was very happy.  The voice acting is amazing, and I'm not ashamed to admit that I was crying by the end of it. Now my only hopes is that they keep it up through out the whole run, because this is definitely a promising anime and I feel the need to share it so please check it out.

Melted Lemon Cake

If you ever made a cake, bread, cupcakes, some types of candies, etc and get to the part where the recipe says wait until (whatever you just baked/melted) is cool before depanning, well this is why. Saturday nights baking of Easter cakes where a little bit of a disaster, two of the lemon cakes ended up like this lil one in the picture, but luckily the strawberry ones came out fine.  So if you would like to take a look at the finished cakes and if you want the recipe I posted it over on my cooking blog so please take a look, here is the link....Easter Egg Cake

Egg Cake

Making yummy cakes shaped in the form of Easter eggs.  I got the silicon mold pretty cheap at Walmart, I know by Monday it would've been even cheaper but I couldn't chance there not being any more.  Three of the mini cakes are a delicious adaptation from the Starcraft Gold Mineral Cupcakes done on the Nerdy Nummies youtube channel (click on the link to check it out).  I will add the adapted recipie probably tomorrow when I find out if it worked out well :).  The other three mini cakes are just from a box cake mix (flavored strawberry), I did it for the color variation and also because not everyone in the house likes lemon flavored stuff.  Since its so late for me once the cakes are done baking I'm just going to let them cool overnight and decorate them in the morning, so pictures and recipe will be posted then.

Last nights Horrible Movie Night went very well, and surprisingly the movie that I thought would be the worst in that box set turned out very enjoyable.  The acting was better then I thought it would be and while the special effect were very low budget it still had some cringe worthy moments, so I do have to recommend at least renting Castle Freak if you can.

Best tweet from last night:  "I don't think you can club and Italian cop over the head and live happily ever after"

And So It Starts

Well I guess this would be very early Saturday morning here, but we've finally ate dinner and now a few minutes away from watch Castle Freak.  We can already tell we are going to be off to a bad start since it looks like no film company wanted to fix their name to it.  Here is its imdb page Castle Freak imdb since the movie hasn't started we are not sure yet if that is the right movie but it was the only one that came up on imdb with that same name.  Oh and all my thoughts on the movie will be tweeted so feel free to look and laugh.
